Please take a minute to meet:
Vinit Pande,
M.D. I am a Board Certified Physiatrist
and partner in a private outpatient and inpatient practice in
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I
attended S.U.N.Y. Brooklyn Medical School with my Physiatry residency
training at U.M.D.N.J. in Newark, NJ.
Since graduating from residency I have been practicing at Northeast
Rehabilitation Associates. Our group has a great reputation in Pennsylvania and I’m
proud to be a partner in this practice.
I am married with a daughter six years old and a son two years old.
While both my wife and I have busy schedules, we try to take time
for outside interests such as travel, hiking and photography. My wife
prefers a traditional film camera while I now favor a digital camera.
This makes for interesting vacations since both of us will take our
own set of pictures. When
first married, we were hiking through the foothills of the Himalayas and
able to get spectacular shots with an old wide-angle camera.
I have used the same camera when visiting an old friend in
California. A road trip up
the Pacific Coast highway had stunning scenery, culminating in
breathtaking views of San Francisco, including the Japanese Tea Garden. With our
children the trips are tamer, and Disney World becomes our big adventure.
We went there again recently and we have enjoyed seeing the nearly
400 pictures of our vacation. I
feel trips are a great way of reconnecting with my wife and children.
For me, the best way to have balance in my life is to work hard and
have fun with my family. Currently I am performing IMEs in my Wilkes-Barre office and look forward to performing IMEs in the Philadelphia region (through the TIMES office). I also diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic pain, workplace injuries and auto accidents. While many of the pain patients I manage have had cervical or lumbar complaints, I have also been involved with treatment of other diagnoses including fibromyalgia, RSD, chronic pain syndrome, and general musculoskeletal complaints of the upper and lower extremities.
